Trees of Mystery
Klamath, California
www.treesofmystery.net
Description
A great attraction in the middle of the Redwood National Park. Has been open for around 50 years. It boasts a hiking trail with interpretive signs and voice recorded audio. A tram, called the Skytrail takes visitors up to the top where one can see all the way to ocean. There is a café, motel, and extensive gift shop. The Redwood National Park was established in 1968 and expanded in 1978 to protect the ancient redwood forests growing along the northern California coast. Coastal redwoods tower over all other trees in the world.
