Description
The waters off Cancun are world-reknown for their abundant sport fishing. Some of the most popular fish are the Marlin and Sailfish. Between hooking into those once-in-a-lifetime trophies, you are sure to hall in a boat load of Dorado. We did this trip a few years back and chose Puerto Aventuras Fishing to guide us. We caught two Sailfish and about 20 Dorado between all of us. It was one of the most exciting fishing trips we've ever done and was the highlight of our Cancun trip.

Caught a small tuna
Got sea sick and had to be brought back to shore
But the fact they brought her back was good

Caught a Sailfish - 30 minutes to haul it in
Full assistance on tackle and bait

Was too small to fish so was bummed

Overall
Overall rating is a 3 out of 5. It was a once in a lifetime experience to catch those Sailfish. The weather was perfect, although a little choppy. Next time, Dramamine for everyone. The captain was good at putting us on fish. The staff was great at assisting us. The staff kept most of the fish, but we were able to head back to the house we had rented with a couple of Dorado to barbeque while we lounged by our pool. Had there been Dramamine involved and my son was a little older, this would have been a 5 out of 5. Highly recommended!
